Q. Why am I prompted to review EBSCO's privacy policy before creating a personal My EBSCOhost account?

EBSCO personal account users are required to consent to EBSCO's Personal Data Retention and Usage practices before logging in to their My EBSCOhost folder account.

Please note, EBSCO is occasionally required to update our Data Retention and Usage consent form to comply with new and evolving regulations, such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), to name a few. If and when EBSCO updates our consent form verbiage, users will be prompted to review the form upon their next log-in. This is intended to give users the opportunity to review any changes to EBSCO’s Data Retention and Usage practices and reiterate consent.
